An Teallach, Sep'13

Jim and Richard were leading a group over An Teallach's Munro summits and the superb Corrag Buidhe pinnacles. Here's Richard's take on the day.

It was a cool clear start as we set off from Dundonnell up the stalkers path towards An Teallach. As we climbed it got warmer and warmer as the breeze died down. The group were strong and enthusiastic, so it didn't take us long to reach the summit of Bidean a'Ghlas Thuill from were the views were exceptionally dramatic with the sun picking out the stunning detail of the sandstone cliffs and sharp peaks of An Teallach.

After some food and drink we soon reached the top of Sgurr Fiona and began the sporting scramble over the Corrag Bhuidhe pinnacles, stopping on the way on Lord Berkley's seat for a brief rest !

There may have been some lazing around in the sunshine on the beautifully dry rocks before finishing the traverse and descending to a warm finish !

A fantastic day on one of the best mountains in the world!
