Easains, Meagaidh & Glenfinnan, Nov'11
Day two saw us again whimping out of the Grey Corries, and I could see the disappointment on Dave's face. However, when I suggested attempting a 5 Munro bag on the Creag Meagaidh group, his face lit back up. We were treated to fine weather over Beinn Teallach, Beinn a'Chaorainn and Creag Meagaidh. The mist pulled in suddenly on Stob Poite Coire Ardair, but the remaining two summit we attained fairly easily, returning to car as the last light disappeared.
Out west and to Glenfinnan for our third and final day of hillwalking. The Munro circuit of Sgurr Thuilm and Sgurr nan Coireachan was our target. A fine road travels up Glen Finnan, with much construction currently taking place - some kind of hydro scheme I believe. Ideal conditions, and being a Monday, we had the hills to ourselves and took time to take in the superb views all round.
