Skye Munros, July 2011

Two clients joined Bruce Poll on the Cuillin Ridge Munros in July. Being pretty fit, the clients with Bruce managed to squeeze all the main ridge Munros into 3 days. Day 1 saw them up the southern end on Sgurr nan Eag, Sgurr Dubh Mor and Sgurr Alasdair. They were aiming for Sgurr Mhic Choinnich when the weather deterioated, in fact it became super-wet so they abb'd into the 'Stone Chute' and headed down. This didn't put them off and day 2 saw them bag Sgurr Mhic Choinnich along with the In-Pinn and along the ridge to Sgurr a'Mhadaidh. In decent weather, the northern 3 Munros were bagged on day 3, that's 11 Munros in 3 days - 2 happy girls !

Our next trip is at the end of August and another at the beginning of September, details here
