Navigation Sessions in the Pentlands, June'11

Two evenings and two groups. Some were learning new skills while others were brushing up on rusty techniques learnt many years ago in the Scouts and Girl Guides ! Perfect conditions on both nights, although Thursday was slightly chillier than the Tuesday. With the long days, we were out until after 9pm on both evenings, map reading, relating the compass to the land, estimating timings and generally enjoying ourselves. Next session is on 20 September .
