Navigation Day by Tyndrum

7 hardy souls and myself arrived at Tyndrum's Real Food Cafe for a day's navigation practice. Low-level mist wouldhave made for an extremely challenging time, however this cleared quickly and by the time we'd had our classroom session, fine conditions with superb views had developed. Pacing, timing, aiming off, handrailing and other techniques were practiced and tested on the lower slopes of Ben Challum - we ran out of time to reach the summit. A return to The Real Food Cafe for a de-brief, which was incredibly busy with runners from the Kinlochleven -Tynrum Race - met Richie Cunningham, who came 1st vet. Some more photos of the day are on Chris Highcock's Picassa
