A steep short blast up Chapelgill, south of Biggar.
I'd done this last year and came 4th, but this year Chapelgill was a Scottish Championship race, therefore the competition was going to be much tougher. Before the start, people were heading off in all directions, trying to find the best line up the hill, but in the end it was all down to stamina, speed and a strong descent. I finished 8th out of around 200 runners, but more importantly a full 30secs quicker than last year - so chuffed by that. The race was won strongly by Prasad Prasad.
