Strathconon Corbetts Stewart get's his 200th munro
Was thinking about checking the route for the Cairngorm 4000ers, but Stewart fancied getting his 200th munro, and I needed no persuading to head up to the Fannaichs instead and run over the 9 munros. Weather looked awful when we drove up the private road to Fannich Lodge, but as we cycled along the lochside, the cloud began to gradually lift. A'Chailleach's summit sulked in mist, but thereafter we ran along the crests in clear conditions and enjoyed a superb day out, meeting and blethering with quite a few folk, including several locals and one guy (Ross McEwan) who recognised me from the website. I was flattered that he'd marked this website as one of his favourites ! As you can see from the photo, Stewart was pretty chuffed getting his 200th munro tick on Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich.
