Phew, the heat today ! Kinlochewe must have been one of the UK's hotspots. Undeterred, 50 plus runners turned up at the start-line for a revised tougher route up one of the most photogenic of munros. The heat did get to quite a few folk, but not Brian Marshall who finished in just over 2:10hr. I'd been doing quite well and worked my way up to 9th place before the heat caused me to slow down to a jogging and occasionally walking pace and therefore lose 6 or 7 places. A well organised race by Ross Bannerman of Highland Hillrunners. Results and photos here.
