Inverlael Munro Bagging, 1 February 09
Only two mainland munros left on on th 14th round - Seana Bhraigh and Am Faochagach. Meeting up with Mick and Jamie for the approach in from Strathvaich, plans changed and we decided to do all 6 Inverlael munros. Perfect weather conditions, it took us only 2 hours of running along paths, snow and ice to reach Seana Bhraigh. A chance meeting with Ross of Highland Hillrunners and his pup on Beinn Dearg, saw the four of us run up Cona Mheall and gingerly work our way down the icy other side. Am Faochagach was reached as the sun started to set behind the Fannaichs. A fantastic day ! More photos on my Flickr page.
